Logo Concept
The logo reflects Tai Sui tradition, one ‘歲’ remains unchanged (appeasing) and the other is mirrored (clashing), merging into a temple silhouette with praying-hand strokes. The triangle evokes incense and cultural continuity.

Product Visuals
Rooted in Taipei’s temple culture, this project reframes Tai Sui, tied to the 60-year cycle by countering today’s pay-and-go rituals. We created a hexagonal guideline assisted pixel-art to integrate the Bagua system for every each of the Tai Sui, with a set of 60 color-coded guardian charms, and clear informational booklets so people can understand and practice the tradition, not just purchase it.

Behind the scenes
We took the initiative to pitch our idea to Songshan Temple, and they liked it. We pulled countless days and nights to get everything set, developed the branding for the deities, and exhibited in their temple for half a year. It was all worth it when we saw audiences checking out the booklets and interacting with them. We achieved our goal by helping people understand the origin of Tai Sui.
